Benefits of Plants
Extensive research has explored the environmental and psychological benefits of plants. Beginning with a study by NASA is the 1980s, which found indoor plants remove toxins from the air, numerous studies since have proved that plants indeed remove harmful pollutants from air, while improving concentration and memory retention! Additionally, plants positively effect home values, while reducing crime, soil erosion, storm water run off, heating and cooling costs, noise pollution and more. Then of course, there are the mental and physical benefits derived from the act of gardening.
